Becca's Birthday Session / Middle Georgia Photographer

One of our dearest friends asked her daughter what she really wanted for her birthday...and you'll never believe what she wanted!  Besides a new outfit ;),  she wanted to bring a few friends over and have a fun, silly photo session with us...with a few serious pics, but mostly them just having a great time and doing whatever they wanted.  We had a blast with these sweet girls!  Not only are they super sweet, but they are cuties too!

We'd totally love to do more of these sessions and think it's an awesome idea for someone to create a memory with their friends and get great pics while doing so! :)

Becca loves Julie's truck---so it was most definitely chosen as one of their props to have some fun with.  This is one of my faves!

Becca sure has grown up from the little Huck Finn girl that we remember from years ago! Cutie!!

The Ginormous, Late Easter Post :) / Only For You Mom

Everyone already has their Easter pics of course...but my sweet mama doesn't have a fb account and wants to show some of these precious kiddos off to some friends at work!  SO, here are two pics from each family for our Spring Easter Mini sessions.  We had a blast and though we were tired, tired, tired from chasing bunnies all over the place at the end, we adore these precious pics which made it all worth it. 

Madalynn 3 Years / Monticello Georgia Children's Photographer

Little Madalynn came back to us for her three year pics and we noticed she liked to stop and take a little time to have her picture made more so than last year!  :)  We had a great time during her session!

Laney 6 Months / Warner Robins Georgia Baby Photographer

Met up again with Jamie from the awesome Baby Country Consignments of Warner Robins to get some pics of sweet Laney who is already six months old!  Seems like we were just doing her newborn session.  Every day leading up to her session day was such warm, awesome weather---and this day wasn't really cold but the wind was CRAAAZZZYYY which made her chilly...and made her almost blow away when her mama put the biggest bows in middle Georgia on her head, lol! ;)

Jamie and I have a love/hate relationship with the bows---as in she loves them and I don't.  HA!  BUT---you gotta do right by your client...so we compromise.  I take the bow pics and get some shots without---to save my sanity. ;) 

Laney was a trooper--hanging in there despite that ridiculous wind!

Madison 11 days...and 26 days new :)

Meet Madison...the very first/only newborn to beat us at our game! :)  She holds the new championship title for the first/only newborn to ever cause us to reschedule before we finished the session.  When parents are stressed about the baby not going to sleep right away, we always tell them we've never had a newborn beat us--we always get them sleepy within a certain time limit and get all the images we need...so no worries.  Just gotta have patience.  Now we have to say that one did beat us, lol!

Madison is a sweetie--but wasn't feeling the love for having her picture made when she was 11 days new.  She wanted to nurse the entire time and anytime we put her down to snap a picture, she'd scream at us.  We got about four pics in three hours.  Since things weren't looking so hot even with adding another hour on, we decided on a reschedule.  Back at 26 days new, she still wasn't so sure about being asleep and having her pictures made, but we did it!  She didn't scream at us much, but would get upset if she wasn't being held---so we decided to practice a lot of hand shots with mom and dad holding her in different poses.

Was awesome practice and pulled off the session!  Woohoo!  We loved working with this family and now have the new joke that we are all going to hang out together at the next family reunion because of being family after spending all that time together! ;)  Good stuff!

Time to meet baby Madison---the one that BEAT us! :)  Well the first time anyway... ;)
