Erin and Ray's Wedding

Erin and Ray got married on December 12th at Abundant Life Church here in Jackson Georgia. It was a rainy, cold day but that certainly didn't put a damper on any happiness and good spirits! These two are so fun to be around and we knew after their engagement session that they'd be great to work with again! As a couple they are both hilarious and their sense of humor fits in perfectly with MonkeyBean style. We know that they will have an awesome marriage because of those sweet spirits and being able to laugh at just about anything! :)

Stay tuned for Erin and Ray's "Fearless Bride...and Groom" session!

All because two people fell in love...the photo table of many generations that happened because two people loved each other...

I big puffy heart this series of Erin and Ray dancing their first dance!!

I think the next one is too cute with the little girls watching the bride dance with Dad...they're totally talking about when they'll be brides! ;)

Marie and Jonathon's Wedding

Marie and Jonathon were married at the Shamrock building in Jonesboro, Georgia on a very pretty Fall day. It started off somewhat chilly for October in Georgia, but warmed up enough to keep from turning Marie's bridal party into popsicles! While our previous bride is the biggest "Gone With The Wind" fan we know, Marie and Jonathon are the biggest Georgia Bulldog fans we know! Their wedding day was embellished with red and black--from their shoes, flowers and even down to both of their cakes!

They both have terrific families who did a lot to make their day special. They took great care of us as well! We had taken Jonathon and Marie's engagement pictures prior to their wedding day, so we were excited to have some more fun with these guys!

Marie's Dad told Jonathon it was a done deal and he doesn't take returns! ;)

Marie gave us plenty of time for her bridal pictures which is AWESOME!

Even thought UGA lost, we hope you guys still had a great trip!

Amber and Ben's Wedding

Amber and Ben's ceremony was at the Hollis House in Forsyth, Georgia. It rained throughout most of the week before and there were threats that it would rain on Saturday as well...but it turned out to be a very beautiful day! Our favorite word to describe Amber and Ben's wedding day is enchanting. From the music they chose for the processional, the way their parents danced with each other, and how well their friends took care of them throughout the day---it was all somehow very enchanting and endearing.

To say Amber is a HUGE Gone With The Wind fan, would be the biggest understatement of the century...the movie and characters played a very large part in her special day.

Grab a snack before sitting back for the forty-something pictures to load--I know that's a lot, but when a couple has so many great moments throughout their day, it's best to tell the story from the beginning to the end. :)

Her main request: plenty of pictures with the upstairs window...

OK, these next ones are from the funniest story of the day---Shaun, the best man, was trying to get Ben's nephew, Travis, to pose for a few more pictures by offering him an Altoid---THE CURIOUSLY STRONG MINT! Well, it was definitely curiously strong to Travis---after a couple of seconds, his face turned red and he ran back into the house saying that he couldn't breathe! How cute is that?! ;)

SO sweet moment with Mom--

Ben seeing his bride for the first time--

I just love the look on Amber's Dad's face in the next one! I think every girl should have a picture of herself dancing with Dad. I think it's one of those that will be the most cherished one day.

And then I love this one of Ben's parents dancing together...look at that, you can tell that is true love. And yes, the sky really was two different shades of blue because of the rain cloud. :)

We've never been to a wedding where the people boogied quite this great! I believe this is Ben's great-Aunt who is shaking her groove thang so well! She was the best! You really should have been there when "Baby Got Back" started playing...priceless.

We loved both sets of parents and they were super nice to us throughout the entire day...and Ben's Mom put the icing on the cake when she ran over to the car when they were leaving to tell them, "CALL ME...EVERYDAY!!" How precious is that?!

Hope you guys had a blast in Disney and that you enjoy your pictures!

Caitie and Kevin's Wedding Part 2

For the final installment of Caitie and Kevin's wedding, here's a little taste of the more traditional parts of the wedding day and ceremony...with a couple of little crazy parts thrown in--like rings on strawberries. :)

Caitie and Kevin were married at Dixon United Methodist Church in Lizella and then had their reception at the Girl Scout Camp nearby. Afterward they spent a relaxing week in Helen for their honeymoon!

Seeing each other for the very first time that day:

This little guy was snapping some serious pictures during picture taking time...I couldn't help but do a picture in a picture! :)

Love how Dad's off in the distance watching his baby girl leave.

Caitie and Kevin's Wedding Part 1

Here's Part 1 of Caitie and Kevin's wedding we shot this past weekend in my old stomping ground----good ole' Crawford County! It was so close to home that afterward, Julie and I dropped in on Mom and Dad for a little visitation and snacks! My Mom rocks so hard that she had us some Cherry Cokes chilling in the that's an awesome mama!

My favorite part of Caitie and Kevin's wedding was Caitie and Kevin...they gave us plenty of time to get some non-traditional, FUN pictures, made sure we were well taken care of at the reception and are just so much fun to be around. It definitely puts a photographer at ease when a couple can just laugh and be goofy behind the camera and seem as though you're just a bunch of old friends hanging out. And nice, fun people have nice, fun friends---the wedding party was equally as awesome to be around! We love you guys!! :)

Here's part one of the pictures and I chose to go completely MonkeyBean style and leave the traditional stuff out for this first round---no worries they're there as well, but these are my favs from the day!

One of their most favorite things to do, ride their four-wheeler...

I love how Kevin looks at his new bride!

Got some awesome rainbow sunflare in this next one! Woot!

They are totally laughing about that surprise wedding gift the horse dropped off for them! ;)

Hope you guys are enjoying the honeymoon in Helen...I know your checking that facebook because I've seen the updates! :) We hope you guys love your pictures.

April and Jamie's Wedding Part 3

April's getting her pictures this week and I know she's going to be excited to hear that! :)
Here's more details and favs:

I love this one Julie caught of Jamie watching the elevator numbers as he was waiting for April to come down for their first look...with bridesmaids peeking!

They see each other for the first time that day:

More first look images:

The Father, Daughter dance was too sweet...we had to wipe away some tears ourselves!

This turned out cool with April in focus and Jamie in the background out of focus:

Jamie and his buddies are serious Star Wars fans...the force was with him as he "cut" his groom's cake with a light saber!!

We had a great day and after spending a whole day with April's nice family, we feel a little like a part of the family ourselves! We're excited to do it all over again with this awesome family in November for Brooke's wedding!

April and Jamie's Wedding

April and Jamie got married on March 28th in the Tara Ballroom at Atlanta Motor Speedway on what probably has been the rainiest day all year! You would have never known there was a downpour outside, because everyone's spirits were still up and things ran very smoothly throughout the day...well except for that freak 5 minute hailstorm that almost took out the entire bridal party when we attempted to do ONE photo of everyone outside. :) Needless to say, that didn't happen! I'm sure that the rain became the last thing on April and Jamie's minds when they hit the beautiful beaches of Jamaica for their honeymoon. Anyone up for a destination wedding and a couple of photogs?! *wink* *wink*

Here is a really small sneak peek of my very favorites as I was doing a quick search through the day's pictures. We had a blast spending the day with such a nice family that took really good care of us!

I'm so in love with this next photo....the colors are so moody and the textures rock my world!

I once read that a photographer's job is to document the matter what the weather is or what happens---you are there to document it all. Well I had to get something that summed up the weather really well! :)

Ring shots might be my favorite part of the day...I think it's because everything else has settled down and there's a little time to do something artistic and out of the ordinary. Julie thought of this one in front of pink dogwood blooms! You just couldn't go wrong with pink for April, I think it turned out really lovely.
